Gut Health
More and more research is coming to light on how our Gut (large intestine) plays an integral part in our overall health and well-being. When it’s not working optimally, it can create a whole host of issues in the body.
Common gut symptoms are; reflux, bloating, cramping, food intolerances, constipation, diarrhoea and (IBS) irritable bowel disease, but what we don’t always realise is when our gut bacteria is out of balance, this can contribute to other symptoms such as; acne, eczema, depression, anxiety, asthma, autoimmune conditions, hormonal imbalances, weight gain and lower immune system (frequent infections).
Unfortunately, in today’s society, we are overexposed to certain foods, medications and lots of stress, which can directly influence the ‘Good’ bacteria in the Gut.
If your Gut isn’t in the healthiest state, I highly recommend addressing your symptoms before they get worse by seeing a naturopath, who can offer relief whilst finding and treating the cause of your symptoms.
We understand that achieving optimal health begins in the Gut, where the healing needs to start.
